The Qiwu Coal Mine, located in Weishan Township, Jining City, Shandong Province, utilizes an underground TDS® system to replace the conventional surface raw coal preparation facilities. This enables underground pre-discharge of gangue, improves the quality of the coal hoisted to the surface, and increases the effective lifting and transportation capacity of the main shaft.

Gangue treatment: Underground gangue is lifted out of the mine by the auxiliary shaft. The mine is currently planning a filling system.
Application effect: The underground gangue discharge is about 124,000 tons per year, and the annual clean coal output of the mine is increased by 97,000 tons.
