Located in Tianjin Eco-City, the facility is a key municipal project covering more than 40,000 square meters, integrating advanced R&D laboratories, industrial-scale testing platforms, intelligent manufacturing workshops, and comprehensive office facilities into a single innovation ecosystem.

Designed around the dual pillars of smart manufacturing and testing innovation, the base brings together production facilities for intelligent coal and mineral processing equipment, a dedicated R&D and testing center for smart sensing instruments, and advanced engineering resources. This integrated platform supports the complete development cycle—from scientific research and engineering design to manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance.

The base features state-of-the-art Mineral Analysis Laboratories and Optics & Electronics Laboratories, supporting research in mineral characterization, coal analysis, and lithium battery recycling. These laboratories provide precise analytical data and scientific validation for the continuous development of MeiTeng’s intelligent dry separation technologies, advanced sensing systems, and AI-powered sorting equipment.

Its industrial-scale testing center is equipped with full-size TDS^® (XRT) and TGS^® intelligent dry separation systems, enabling comprehensive process evaluation for coal, metallic ores, and non-metallic minerals. Through systematic material testing, data acquisition, and sorting model development, MeiTeng continuously builds material-specific databases that improve detection accuracy, optimize separation performance, and accelerate solution development for diverse applications.

By integrating research, testing, engineering, and intelligent manufacturing within a single facility, the Eco-City Base enables MeiTeng to deliver customized TDS^® (XRT) and TGS^® solutions tailored to each customer’s unique material characteristics. Established on January 12, 2024, Shandong Laimei Coal Machinery Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Tianjin Meiteng Technology Co., Ltd.  and Shandong Energy Group Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Fortune Global 500 company Shandong Energy Group. The center is dedicated to the research, development, and manufacturing of next-generation intelligent separation equipment, positioning itself as a technological pioneer in the digital and intelligent transformation of the coal and mineral processing industries.
