In November 2023, MeiTeng commissioned its first lead–zinc ore XRT in Tibet, deployed at Huayu Mining. The technology successfully addressed the challenge of recovering low-grade ore that was previously uneconomical to process. The fully dry, chemical-free sorting process eliminates water consumption, resolving the conflict between resource development and water conservation. This project provides a more sustainable and efficient solution for the utilization of medium- and low-grade lead–zinc resources in Tibet and across China.
